The kids wanted to try doing the tutoring together and it seemed to work pretty well. Nick and I would practice multiplication while Brooke would review her addition flashcards and then we switched. Next week we might do a little differently, just to see if other ways work even better :).
Nick practiced his multiplication by reviewing his flashcards and then working on his multiplication book. Meanwhile, Brooke did her time worksheet and then practiced her addition by reviewing her flashcards and and then working on her addition book. Before we knew it it was 5:30 and the kids were ready to take a break. Brooke decided to help me cook while Nick looked for educational games online. He seemed pretty excited about that so we might start including those games into our tutoring, or at least into possible "homework" during the week. Here are some sites I have found useful:
Anyway, I'm sure we'll find more as go. I think that was pretty much it for today.
